Basilicata Roots was born as an editorial response to a need that the communities of Lucanians abroad have repeatedly expressed publicly: to reconnect their history to contemporaneity, through generational reconnection, both among themselves and with resident-residents in Basilicata, and by reversing the narrative of the migration phenomenon, through storytelling with contemporary formats and audiovisual products.
