Matera, June 22, 2023 – The 32nd edition of “Minibasket in Piazza,” the renowned international minibasketball tournament that annually transforms the city of Matera into a cheerful and colorful basketball arena, concluded yesterday. This edition was marked by fair play, friendship, and pure talent, featuring the participation of 48 teams from 4 continents.

Among the undisputed stars of this edition was the team Motion Basket Toronto from Canada. The young Canadians, led by the experienced coach John Smith, won the hearts of the Materan public with their lively and spectacular play, characterized by impeccable teamwork and incredible determination.
