After moving from San Mauro Forte to Denmark through an Erasmus study opportunity, Gilberto decided to settle in the Nordic country. Here, he found work almost immediately within the first week after the move. Recognizing the significant differences between working in Italy and in Denmark, he chose to stay after completing his studies, starting several businesses in the restaurant sector. He dreams of returning to Basilicata one day to contribute to its development, recognizing its potential and unique lifestyle, but he acknowledges that it will be a challenging goal to achieve. However, he remains open to the possibility and hopes to work towards it.
