Venanzia’s story begins in 1994 at the Polytechnic University of Turin: as an architecture student, she moved to Oulu, a town in northern Finland.
The Erasmus project she took part in was an opportunity to experience a culture diametrically opposed to her Lucanian roots. It was here that Venanzia became the woman she is today: a wife, architect, entrepreneur, and honorary consul for Italy in Finland. Her journey has been an uphill one, marked by the tenacity and determination that, she says, distinguish people from a beautiful yet challenging land like Basilicata.
